To get us all ready for the first Mood Hut party this weekend, Loving Dancing has put together this mix of all local tunes and edits. Most of the tracks in this mix were made in and around the Mood Hut studio (which is where we’ll be this Saturday). The rest were made by our friends in the neighbourhoods around it.

I love the mystical, atavistic aspect of dance music, the compulsion to go “deep” in a way that collapses the mind/body dichotomy: down into the subconscious, outward into the cosmos. You have to get into your own body in order to lose yourself in amongst the other dancers. Dance music = spiritual communism.
These guys know what I mean.
